Lift it High

Ever heard of the loving dog owner who goes to the store, lets say Walmart, and buys some dog food for their dog, and some chocolate for themselves? This loving dog owner comes home from the store one day, and him and his dog are just having the best time in the world. He feeds his dog the dog food, and then eats half of his chocolate bar because before he could finish it, the silky brown coat of his dog starting rubbing on his leg because he wanted to play.
So what did the emotion driven owner do? Not knowing that it may cause harm, he gladly gave his dog some of the Hershey's Chocolate Bar. The dog kindly ate the bar, and the dog and the owner continued to play happily along.
However, a few weeks later, the dog turned out to be very sick, so much so that the dog lost it's life. The owner had no clue that when he fed the dog chocolate, he had good intentions, but what he did was offensive, enough to take the dog's life.
When we carry on conversations and interactions in our every day lives, we need to realize that good intentions are great, but are only half of the battle. Do not commit murder of someone's soul out of good intentions. Monitor you WORDS and ACTIONS so that people may see you lift up the Cross of Jesus in your speech and actions, because the image of Jesus goes MUCH farther than good intentions!
