Last night I was able to attend the Hillsong United concert at the BiLo Center. At certain points every stood with raised hands singing the chorus or verse or bridge to a song together. But then, in the middle of the concert, the music stopped for a profound statement. Well two. One, if you dont have the Gospel, these are just songs that cannot save your soul and dont come close to the Joy that comes from accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. As we were discussing before, it does not matter what concert you attend, or what church you go to, that will not save you. Only the Blood of Jesus washes away ones sins. He also made another profound statement. It was said that once we receive the Gospel of Jesus, we should show the Love of Christ. This is radical. That means that in ALL that we do, the Love of Christ should be obvious to believers and non- believers alike. We should shine His Love so that people may wonder who we have inside of us that makes us so different, and we can proudly say, it is Jesus Christ, spreading the Gospel! So, if you havent heard or accepted the Gospel of Jesus, make the greatest decision of your life now, accept Him as Lord and Savior. And if you have accepted Him already, do all that you can to show His love to a broken world!
