With the economy looking like it is, the threat of terrorism not seeking to stop anytime soon, and the national tragedies around the world in the form of natural disasters, its not very difficult to shift our focus to the natural relm, looking at our nation and becoming very depressed by the state of our government. When our focus and trust is in the national government, or any human for that matter, this is what happens. Failure, and dissapointment. This is why we as Christians are told to put our trust in Christ. Christ is the only one with the power to save, to sustain, and guide us through life. Thats why we put our focus on Christ. Focusing not on the things of the world. Here are some common things adults face daily that can take their focus off of Christ.
- Work
- Government
- Bills
- Taxes
- Gas
- Family
- Pier Pressure
So what is the key? Stay in the Word of the Lord. It continually strengthens one to the point where they can focus on God more clearly and diligently. So adults, dont get pressured by the cares or state of the world, but keep your focus on the one and only Christ Jesus our Lord.
